Taking a Break...

As I've said before, my life has gotten really busy lately.  I'm struggling to get everything done that I need to, and I don't have much time, if any, to do things like blogging. So I decided that I'm going to take a short, two-week break from posting. I'll be back on May 4th. I'll also be working on some exciting new projects for my blog in the meantime.  I have so many ideas for blog posts once I get back! See you soon! Matthew 11:28 (ESV) Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Dancing4Jesus Psalm 149:3~ Let them praise his name with dancing. Sneak Peak of Summer 2022

Today I'm going to be hinting at some of the big things that are coming up this summer, giving you a sneak peak of what you'll be seeing in some of my future blog posts.  First of all, I'm going to be attending the summer workshop my dance studio does annually in June. Click here to read about last year's summer workshop. We're also going to have two amazing guest artists visit for the workshop and I'm really excited to be taught by them. I'm also going to have some exciting teaching opportunities during this workshop. In July, I'm going to be attending another dance workshop, but this time, on a much larger scale. It will be at professional Christian ballet company with two guest artists. I'm not only hoping to improve greatly in my dancing, but I also hope to worship and experience God in a whole new way. I've been planning to go for a little while now and am working hard to make the money for the tuition.  Also in July, I'll be receiving ...

Catching Up...

It's been about three months since I've posted on here! In one of my posts around Thanksgiving time, I said I would try to do better with posting. Obviously that didn't happen, so I'll explain why and also what my future plans are for my blog.  The main reason I stopped writing was because I didn't have the time or energy to. I started a new job working weekends and got my driver's permit. I'm very busy and go somewhere every day. On weekends, I go to church and work. During weekdays I'm doing schoolwork (I'm homeschooled), dance, in-person classes, teaching ballet, or youth group. I don't have much free time anymore.  As for the future of this blog, I honestly haven't decided exactly what to do. I wish I could say that from here on, I'll post every single week, but I don't know if that's realistic right now. I can say that I'm going to try to though. I have a lot of big things that are happening in dance and want to share th...

4 Goals Every Dancer Should Set for the New Year

Hi everyone! I can't believe this is the last blog post I'll write in 2021. Since the new year is right around the corner, I thought I'd write a post today with 4 goals every dancer should set for the new year.  Discover why you dance. This is something that's been heavy on my mind recently. I've wondered why I dance, what made me fall it love with it, and why I connect to it so well. One of my goals this year is to discover the answers to this. I feel like once dancers have figured that out about themselves, it can help them to connect to dance in ways you can't if you don't even know why you do it in the first place. Of course, I want to point out, the ultimate reason I dance is to bring glory to God. (1 Corinthians 10:31 So, whether you eat of drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.) I dance to witness my faith to others. I'm setting this goal because I want to discover more about God's plan for me in the future with dance.  Identif...
